DID I READ IT RIGHT?

She – a friend of mine – saw it. Correction, she read it, not me. She was unsure of what she read so she dragged her boyfriend back to the place and had him read it to make sure that she read it correctly the first time.  She did. She was so flabbergasted that she didn’t know whether to laugh or scream. She even double-checked the meaning of the word just in case there was a new meaning she had missed.

This restaurant that people flocked to satisfy their craving for chicken awarded their employees with awards like “Employee of the month” to, I suppose, to motivate them to sell more wings, thighs and drumsticks and increase the profit margin. Quite motivating but this pin on the crew’s shirt read “Maniac of the month”.

Don’t blame it on typo error because even manic doesn’t come across as good either.
